All night long I was wrestling with myself. I’d heard so many incredible stories from ATL and I wanted that. I wanted to see God in something magnificent and if I’m completely honest with you, I feel as though I missed the magnificent moment if this is all that went down.

As I was processing with someone later that night, I’m not quite sure who that was, the Lord reminded me through my own words that He only does magnificent work.

The prayers we prayed all over this evening cleared the way for Him to bring people from death to life, to reconcile broken families, to speak directly to His children, to break chains of addiction, and honestly probably so much more.

The truth is that the most magnificent work of all was done when eternal God took on flesh, dwelt among us, died a death that He didn’t deserve, and was raised back to life. The most magnificent work was done when He decided that we meant more to Him than his place in Glory. The most magnificent work was done when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the people to love, guide, heal, free, and help.

So, in my minuscule opinion, the most magnificent work that we can do is to set aside ourselves, our fear of rejection or judgment, our pride, and our selfishness to tell God’s people that He loves them dearly and that there is nothing that they have done that can’t be covered by the grace of Jesus.

My friends, don’t be fooled when you look over your life and wonder when He is going to do something miraculous.

God only does magnificent work.
