HEYOOOO!!!!
This last year of my life has been rather intense and I’ve got no plans to slow things down! As long as I have been a follower of Jesus, I have been captivated by dreams of launching on the World Race and I am stoked that the time has finally come! I’M GOIN’ ON THE WORLD RACE!
Many of my pals and family members may be unfamiliar with the World Race, so lemme explain for a sec… The WR is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries. A dream!! Amiright??? Traditional routes will partner with ministry hosts each month to join and support them as they engage the local people, but the route that I have chosen is a little bit different.. WR Expedition concentrates the vast majority of its time in the 10/40 window, which is the area of the world that contains about 97% of the world’s remaining unreached population. Specifically, my team will be traveling to Lebanon, Cypress, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Australia.
Committing to the WR wasn’t an incredibly tough decision for me to make. The first time I heard of the opportunity was when a gal in my church was launching (somewhere around 2011.. Idk) and we held a send off service for her. The moment that she shared what she’d be doing and where she’d be going, I was sold. I never forgot about the race, but the timing never felt right… UNTIL NOW, so HERE I AM.
Truly, I will not be able to do this alone. A venture like this will require the support of many and I am thankful to have the most supportive community. Obvi, i’ll need some folks to lend a hand financially as I need to raise around $18,500.. But what ima really need is some prayerful people to partner with me. Even now, I ask that you’d pray about how the Lord is leading you to be involved. Peeps are already asking questions about how this will be affected by COVID-19 and I’m stoked to know that my race has not yet been affected by the pandemic, but I’ll be quick to update you guys if/when I do hear something! For now, I would LOVE to answer any questions or talk more about this, so hit me up!!
